Soccer age groups are determined based on the year a player is born, following a calendar year system set by our governing bodies - Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer. The age group is indicated by a “U,” which stands for “Under.” For example, a player born in 2011 would play in the U15 (Under 15) age group during the 2025-2026 season, since they turn 15 at some point in 2026. OSU changes age groups in late Fall when our new competitive and recreational seasons begin.
